Shane Warne’s son Jackson tossed the coin for St Kilda’s game against Collingwood minutes ago, with his sister Brooke in tow.
Jackson donned a St Kilda scarf to show his support for his father’s favorite team in the Saints’ first game of the AFL season, while Brooke wore a Collingwood sweater.
Jackson managed to land his first attempt to throw to the side, possibly between some blades of grass, and on his second throw he came up as a header, which was the skipper’s call for CollingwoodScott Pendlebury.
The two Warnes were warmly welcomed by the two captains.
St Kilda players wear black armbands on the pitch tonight to pay tribute to Warne, and a photo and video montage of the cricketer will be shown at half-time.

Jackson posted photos of the special moment on his Instagram page a few minutes ago, with the caption: “For dad. Come on saints.
Brooke, who also posts photos on Instagram, said it felt good to smile on the pitch with her brother.
“Such a special game for our family, honoring our father tonight was such an amazing feeling, thank you to everyone involved,” she wrote.
