FastCash originates N59 billion in personal loans on a digital platform

FastCash, a fast-growing instant lending platform in Nigeria launched by First City Monument Bank, has disbursed N59 billion worth of loans through its digital platform.

A statement said that all loans disbursed by the platform are worth N59 billion and have helped clients from different walks of life meet urgent financial needs and achieve their short-term goals.

The milestone is particularly significant because of its financial inclusion benefits.

“Each FastCash loan bridges the funding gap in Nigeria and ensures the well-being of a Nigerian household,” the statement said.

Mr. Shamsideen Fashola, FCMB’s Head of Personal Banking, commented, “Our customers’ trust in FastCash is humbling.

“We will continue to improve this product to provide an exceptional customer experience. The success we’ve achieved to date is a testament to our commitment at FCMB to empowering our customers through convenient and accessible financial technology products.”

Launched by First City Monument Bank in 2018, FastCash states that FastCash is a personal digital lending product that provides up to N200,000 in credit to existing and non-customers of the bank in less than five minutes.

The statement said: “Customers can conveniently access the loan through the FCMB New Mobile App.

“In addition to FastCash, FCMB also offers Salary Plus Loan, a consumer credit program available to salary account holders.
